This we know: All things are connected like the blood that unites us. We did not weave the web of life,
We are merely a strand in it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. - Chief Seattle
For the first part of my Camiguin trip story: Camiguin Introduction
Our first nature itinerary is the Katibawasan Falls, a 20-minute travel from the resort were we stayed. Katibawasan Falls is 4.6 Km. From the circumferential road with a 70 meters high cascading cold waters that drop below by a rock pool with lush forests as wild monkeys spotted above the falls forests, big rocks.
The government developed the waterfalls surrounding as they were collecting entrance fee of fifteen pesos. Concrete stairs and railing made to guide tourist on their way down into the base of the falls. Souvenir shops and food stalls neatly arranged outside the resort.
We stayed there for one hour, soothing our bodies from the long hours of travel. A very relaxing moment that gives us the energy and refreshment that we need for the rest of our nature tours around the island.
It was already four thirty in the afternoon as we leave the place. Our next destination was the Sto.Nino Cold Spring. Click here
